Herbal Extracts or tinctures are a great way to get a high dose of a concentrated herb without taking a pill or drinking gallons of tea. Simple and effective way to supplement with herbs. These herbal extracts are made using alcohol and/or vegetable glycerin. The alcohol used is Gluten Free Vodka, Gin, or Brandy as specified on the label (see key below). Vegetable Glycerine is coconut-derived, no corn or palm oil is included. Dried herbs are steeped in the solution for 4-6 weeks. Alcohol allows for a strong extraction. The glycerin gives it a sweet flavor and syrup-like texture. Dose 1-2 droppers full under the tongue (sublingual) once to twice daily. See individual dosing.
